How Designers Measure Success, Part 1 (2019) & Part 2:
As in all areas, continuous training and further education is essential + relevance. Also designers should be aware of other relevant fields such as project management, business requirements but also the situation at the market. Also communication and presenting themselves are important (see Portfolios and communication). Success shouldn’t only be measured with tools such as Key Performance Indicators such as Volume of Sales, but also through “other factors that they and their teams have established when they embark on their journey”.
